About us

Monday Media is the largest independent television production company in Scandinavia, established in Denmark in 2008. We produce a wide range of content, from compelling scripted dramas and comedies to entertainment, reality, lifestyle, and factual formats, as well as powerful documentaries.

Monday Scripted was established in Oslo in 2017 as the Norwegian drama arm of Monday Media. In its first year, Monday Scripted delivered stories and scripts for two seasons of Aber Bergen, with creative director and co-owner Ole Endresen serving as showrunner (produced by ITV).

In 2022, Monday Media released the critically acclaimed series Verden er min (I Am Earth), created by and starring Amy Black Ndiaye. This six-part NRK series won the prize for Best International Series at Seriencamp 2022.

Our next series, Gang of Oslo, was released in 2023 as a joint effort between TV2 and Netflix. The series was an international success for Netflix, with Ricky Gervais referring to it on Twitter/X as his “...favourite series of the year.”

In the spring of 2024, former Viaplay executive producer Isak Eymundsson joined the company and is currently developing a big slate of projects.

Our slate includes a diverse range of projects, from true-story thrillers and buddy-cop crimes to gangster dramas and suspense comedies.

Our ambition is to create stories that captivate and surprise both broadcasters and audiences. We strive to engage and entertain with fresh, high-end projects.
